These were in my first box from Winc. Winc is a monthly subscription wine service (there is subscription for everything!). You can choose which wines to try from their selection every month. For my first box, I chose three white wines and one red wine. I'm a major fan of white wine, but often try to minimize my intake since I can finish a bottle by myself in two days.
Pictured is the 2016 One From The Quiver" Malbec which was made in Argentina. I gave this to our previous housemate and it was well-received. The taste is earthy with a little bit of spice.
The second one is the 2015 Passarola Vinho Branco made from Portugal! This is my favorite of the three I tried. It's light and you can be taste the combination of white peach, grapefruit, and lemon. This is still in my fridge as I am portioning what's left to make this last me a while.....until my second box comes in because I just had to get another one.
The third one is the 2015 Honey Beast White Blend straight from the vineyards of California! The website advertises the taste of butterscotch, honey, honeysuckle, orange blossom, white peach, stone fruit, and vanilla bean. But, the taste white peach and vanilla bean were more significant to me. Definitely a great drink for girls' night in!
The last one is the 2014 Wonderful Wine Co. White Blend, also from California. This was the sweetest of the bunch. You can taste the lychee from it!
The great thing about Winc is you can personalized each box every month. You may also skip a month, and the prices are great! In the future, I'm definitely considering letting one or two bottles age for a couple of years. Maybe I can then be a wine collector?
