A little shoulder press variation.
I wouldn't recommend going heavy with this exercise.
Perform your heavy presses first. Then try these out for extra pump.
Since you'll be pressing in a Y-motion, the dumbbells are further away from your spine.
That cantilever adds more difficulty because of the moment angle. Nerd stuff. lol.
Play with the angles and tempos.
I usually add it to a giant shoulder set for some extra pump.
Dumbbell Shoulder Y-Press
4 sets x 8 reps (2-0-1-0) rest 45 seconds
- (2-0-1-0) = (2 sec lower - 0 - 1 sec lift/press - 0)
- add to shoulder giant sets for maximum pump
