Curl Coach Kids - Stacey
April 28th is National Superhero day. This is a day to honor superheroes, both real and fictional. There are tons of people out there in the world who inspire and encourage us whether they're kids, parents or individuals who just want to make a positive impact. I'd like to use this week to give some amazing individuals the spotlight. .
Now before I do, if you're new to this page let me take a quick moment to introduce myself. My name is Stacey. I'm a curly kid coach who builds confidence and competence in the artful manipulation of afro-textured hair and my daughter is the inspiration behind this page. .
She's a powerhouse of energy that lights up my world and makes me want to be the best me I can possibly be. So the day she told me she wanted to throw away her brown skin and straighten her hair, I knew I had to act but didn't know where to start. Now here's the thing about kids. They don't process logic like we do. Convincing a then 4 year old that she was amazing wasn't possible with words alone. So I built this page to show her and other curly, coily kids how beautiful and amazing and wondrous they all are. .
But here's the thing, it takes a village. We're all in this together as care givers, parents, teachers, friends and family. Please use this page as a resource to help you embrace their curls, raise up their crowns and motivate their spirit. .
So now that you know a little more about me. I'd love to introduce you to my lovely daughter. Swipe to see a beautiful Superhero smile that always makes me want to be more today than I could ever dream of yesterday. .
Is there a Superhero you would like to see featured on this page? .
P.S. Yes, she did my 'makeup".
