We're back home, it's super sunny and it's the weekend! 🙌🏼 sounds like a pretty rad combo to me.
We've been spending the best days at the Baltic Sea. It was so good to rewind and get some rest, take a long walk in the sun and spend some time with my mom.
It's important to get away sometime, spend some time away from all the daily stress occurring and calm your mind!
We're constantly thinking about the next steps or the things we have to get done this very day, never actually taking a step back to take a deep breath.
As much as eating the right foods or moving your body contributes to your own health, so is rest. Our bodies need to wind down to fully digest the foods we eat and stress hormones will be moved out of our systems. Though this is all not just about our bodies, more importantly our minds as well. A healthy mind breeds a healthy body and visa versa.
Keep that in mind this weekend; get some rest! ☺✨
I'll use the weekend to prep some easy go to foods for the upcoming week so we're well prepared and stocked up on healthy snacks!
Ever since I got the new @deliciouslyella cookbook I wanted to try the honey and lemon breakfast bars so here's the result!
I swapped the honey for maple, the almond butter for tahini and added some ginger powder and these are the best spring tasting bars I've ever tasted in life 😍👌🏼
Way too good, don't think they'll last very long haha!
