*long post* Does anyone else have a hard time staying committed on the weekends to eating healthy? I mean it takes serious effort for me to do this because: 1. It's rather inconvenient 2. I like to "reward" myself for making it through another long week and hardly seeing my husband 3. My husband and I are avid Panda Expressers and it has kind of become a tradition to go there on a weekly basis. 4. It's so easy to just pour a bowl of cereal or grab fast food real quick... SO I need your help! What are some of the ways you stay on track during the weekend? What's something fun we can implement into our weekend activities that helps us to eat healthy, clean meals and doesn't get us off track? I don't want to be a slave to the kitchen and often times I don't remember to do meal prep to save time, but who likes eating leftovers on the weekends anyway?? SOS HELP ME P.S. This is how I start my morning every single day and have done so for years! My husband has a warm glass of water with lemon waiting on the bathroom counter each and every morning for me... Great way to start the day! Benefits include: ☆1. Helps Digestion The biggest lemon water benefit may be from the temperature of the water and not even the added lemon. Drinking any water, or especially warm water, first thing in the morning can help flush the digestive system and rehydrate the body. ☆2. A Natural Flush The liver is extremely active during sleep since sleep is the body’s time to restore and regenerate. Drinking enough water, especially in the morning, helps make sure that the body can perform these jobs most effectively. There is even some evidence that lemon juice can help stimulate proper stomach acid production and bile production. ☆3.
