Yep, here I am working out again!
I'm not going to lie, I STRUGGLED this week with my workouts and nutrition. I allowed excuses to get in the way and shortchanged myself on length of workouts or even doing them at all.... Nutrition was hit and miss, but thankfully not a complete wash. I'm at the point in my journey where I can get myself back on track if I've slipped a bit too much, but it still wasn't great... Some of you may be thinking "Cut yourself some slack, you only live once" and others may totally understand why I would share this.
Sharing my story is important because many are on the same journey, but have no one to relate to. Or they see their news feeds flooded with people who are slim, trim, gorgeous and fit and don't talk about their struggles, so they assume they are the only one struggling. And that leads to feelings of guilt and disappointment and getting further away from their goals.
So I share because I want you to know I'm just a normal person, who has genuinely struggled with her weight for 15 years, who has good days and bad days, who is all about balance, but is willing to admit when the balance is off!
So here's to getting back on track, fuelling my body properly today, having a great afternoon doing the "domestic thing" and then heading out with my highschool besties for dinner later tonight ❤️
